Warranty Conditions

Manufacturer's warranty for ADBL Protect PPF paint protection film. Below you will find the scope of coverage, the conditions of validity and the formalities required to maintain it.

Scope of Coverage

The warranty covers the quality of the product solely in respect of: delamination of the film, formation of blisters (excluding blisters left during the installation process), and yellowing of the surface (excluding the natural ageing process of the material).

The warranty is limited solely to the re-application of the film to the component on which the material defect appeared. It covers exclusively the wrapping of factory-painted components free of defects.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover: mechanical damage to the surface protected by the film resulting from improper use; defects and damage arising from incorrect application or neglect in care; the actions of third parties; the consequences of improper vehicle care; the application of coatings not recommended by the manufacturer (only coatings dedicated to PPF film are approved); the use of abrasive agents or aggressive chemicals; the performance of the film on repainted components; paintwork repairs regardless of cause; the use of the film on vinyl surfaces, structural plastics or surfaces other than factory paint; and cases where the warranty is to be transferred to a subsequent purchaser of the vehicle (the warranty is non-transferable).

Formal Requirements

  • Application carried out by a professional installer at a certified ADBL Approved studio.
  • Mandatory registration of the application within 30 days from the date of installation on the warranty registration page.
  • Proof of purchase of the film or service (receipt/invoice) and a complete online warranty card are required.
  • Reporting of installation defects or damage to the film within 48 hours of discovery to the party who performed the application.
  • First inspection within 7-21 days of installation at the place of application.
  • Subsequent warranty inspections: at least every 10,000 km or once a year.

Conditions of Use

Use exclusively pH-neutral chemicals, avoid high-pressure washing directly at the edges of the film, maintain a minimum distance of 50 cm between the pressure washer nozzle and the protected surface, and comply with the recommendations set out in the care instructions for protective films.

Complaints

A complaint must include: proof of purchase of the PPF film (invoice/receipt), the sales invoice for the installation service, and the batch number, film roll number or order number.

For complaints concerning defects other than those listed: before removing the liner (the protective film on the adhesive side), the film surface must be inspected. Complaints regarding film defects are accepted only up to the point at which the factory-applied liner is removed.

Final Provisions

The manufacturer's warranty covers the product. The warranty for installation and removal is determined individually by the film installer. Proof of warranty is the registered submission on the registration page together with the proof of purchase of the film or service.
